Helmet Construction

Shell - The outer structure or hard part of the helmet is the shell of the motorcycle helmet. The outer shell is usually made of Polycarbonate plastic, Fiberglass or Kevlar.

Protective Padding - The protective padding is made of Expanded Polystyrene in common known as EPS, which plays a role of absorbing the impact.

Comfort Padding - The comnfort padding is a cushion which gives your comfort while the helmet is on your head.

Chin Strap - The Chin Strap is a retention system consisting of a strap that keep the helmet in position during an impact.

Chin Bar - The Chin bar comes on a Full Face and Modular helmet and is made to protect the chin during an impact. 

Visor - The Visor is a transparent protective screen which covers the eyes and all or part of the face.
