Road Markings

1] Continuous White Line :
If this line is present, you should not change the lane and remain on the same lane. You are strictly prohibited to even cross that line for overtaking purpose. 

2] Broken White Line :

You can change the lane but you need to be careful. If it is safe, cross the line and move on. You can change the lane only for taking the turn and not overtaking.

3] Continuous Yellow Line :
You can overtake or pass over that line but you need to be in your yellow line only. You cannot cross it. 

4] Double Continuous Yellow Line :
You strictly have to be in your lane and not cross the line even during overtaking.

5] Yellow Broken Line :
You can pass or overtake the line but you need to be cautious. You can cross that line for overtaking as well as taking a turn.
